Liesa the Parent
Liesa Scott has three grown children: Toralf, Daniela, and Alexander, who she raised as a single parent without child support under very difficult circumstances. Her children grew up in three different countries, on two different continents, and are bi-lingual in German and English. They are wonderful, cosmopolitan people and Liesa feels that, of all her achievements, raising her children is the one she is the most proud of.
Toralf is a cardiologist in Berlin, Germany where he lives with his wife Barbara, who is a pharmacist. He did extended research in nuclear medicine and designs and produces large scale events in the fine arts.
Daniela is a designer and business woman in the US and has a great interest in cosmopolitan issues. She lives with her fiancé Axel, an acupuncturist, in Vermont. They love to travel internationally.
Alex served, as a German citizen, for four years in the American Navy on the aircraft carrier "Kearsarge". He is a graduate of the University of Washington and teaches medicine at a college in Portland, Oregon, where he continues his medical education. He is also a stage and movie actor. His acting began at the age of 9. For pleasure, he sails on the tall ship “Lady Washington” as part of its crew.
